On 8th February 2026, the Sadashivanagar Residents Welfare Association (SRWA) hosted its 4th Annual Carnival, themed “Season of Love,” bringing together over 1,500 residents for an evening of culture, entrepreneurship and community bonding in Sadashivanagar, Bangalore.
A Celebration of Community Spirit
Organised by the Sadashivanagar Residents Welfare Association (SRWA), the carnival was held from 3:00 pm to 9:00 pm and saw enthusiastic participation from families across Sadashivanagar and neighbouring areas of Bangalore.
True to its theme, “Season of Love,” reflected the event’s core objective: to create an inclusive platform where neighbours could connect, local talent could shine, and small businesses could grow.
Engaging Entertainment for All Ages
The carnival buzzed with energy as families enjoyed a wide range of engaging activities:
- A spectacular bubble show delighted over 250 children, filling the evening with wonder and laughter.
- A heartwarming dance workshop for mothers and children, led by local resident Ankita K, encouraged families to bond through movement and music.
- A vibrant live music performance by Hema Nayak and team had the audience singing along to Bollywood, Sandalwood, Tollywood, and English hits.
From toddlers to grandparents, there was something for everyone, reinforcing the carnival’s inclusive spirit.
Empowering Local Entrepreneurs: “Vocal for Local”
A major highlight of the carnival was the “Vocal for Local” initiative, which showcased the incredible talent and enterprise within the neighbourhood.
- 45+ stalls featured homegrown brands and small businesses.
- Local entrepreneurs displayed handcrafted products, fashion, art, lifestyle goods, and more.
- Residents enthusiastically supported these ventures, strengthening the local economy and fostering meaningful connections.
This initiative not only provided a platform for small businesses but also strengthened the spirit of self-reliance within the community.
Young Entrepreneur Zone: Encouraging Early Leadership
Perhaps the most inspiring space at the carnival was the Young Entrepreneur Zone.
- 30+ young sellers aged 5–15 years managed their own stalls.
- Children gained hands-on experience in entrepreneurship, customer interaction, and money management.
- Families and neighbours cheered them on, celebrating their creativity and confidence.
Watching young minds step into leadership roles was a powerful reminder of the community’s commitment to nurturing future changemakers.
A Feast of Flavours & Fun
No carnival is complete without food and games, and SRWA delivered both in abundance.
- The culinary section featured delicious home-cooked delicacies that added warmth and authenticity to the evening.
- The games area brought classic carnival excitement, ensuring laughter and friendly competition for all ages.
The aroma of fresh food, the sound of music, and the joy of shared experiences created an atmosphere that truly embodied the “Season of Love.”
Powered by Community & Supporters
The carnival was organised by the Sadashivanagar Residents Welfare Association with generous support from:

Their partnership helped make the event larger, more vibrant, and more impactful.
Voices from the Community
“Our goal was to build an inclusive, joyful space where talent, food and enterprise from our neighbourhood can shine,” said Mrs. Chaitra Mukand, President, SRWA. “The turnout and energy exceeded our expectations and reaffirmed why neighbourhood events matter.”
“Events like the Season of Love Carnival reconnect neighbours, promote small local businesses and create lasting memories for families,” said Amrit Hinduja, local resident and committee member, SRWA. “Seeing children lead their own stalls and locals support each other underlines the strength of our community.”
More Than a Carnival
The 4th Annual “Season of Love” Carnival was more than an evening of entertainment, it was a celebration of what makes Sadashivanagar special: its people.
By blending culture, entrepreneurship, food, music, and meaningful connections, SRWA once again demonstrated the power of community-led initiatives. As the lights dimmed and families headed home with smiles and memories, one thing was certain—the spirit of togetherness in Sadashivanagar continues to grow stronger with each passing year.
Here’s to many more seasons of love.
