About The Managing Committee
The Managing Committee is responsible for the overall functioning and administration of the Sadashivanagar Residents Welfare Association (SRWA). The committee works on behalf of the residents to guide the association’s activities and to support initiatives that contribute to the welfare and development of the neighbourhood.
Composition of the Managing Committee
The Managing Committee consists of:
- Ten members elected by the General Body, including two seats reserved for women members
- The Immediate Past President of the Association This structure ensures continuity, representation, and balanced participation.
Term of Office
- The Managing Committee holds office for a term of two years
- The committee continues in office until a new Managing Committee is elected
Members of the committee are eligible for re-election, in accordance with the association’s rules.
Office Bearers
From among its members, the Managing Committee elects the following office bearers:

- Honorary Secretary
- Honorary Treasurer To encourage shared leadership, no member may hold any of the above offices for more than two consecutive terms.
Eligibility & Participation
- Members must have been part of SRWA for a minimum period to be eligible to serve on the Managing Committee
- Committee members contribute in a voluntary capacity and are expected to uphold the values and objectives of the Association
Vacancies & Continuity
- In the event of a vacancy in the office of the President, the Vice-President assumes the role for the remaining term
- Vacancies in other office-bearer positions are filled from within the Managing Committee
- If required, the Managing Committee may nominate or co-opt additional members to ensure smooth functioning, with such appointments continuing until the next Annual General Meeting
