A shared commitment to care and continuity.
Building a Better Sadashivanagar
SRWA stands united in its mission to nurture, protect, and thoughtfully guide the growth of Sadashivanagar: ensuring it remains a place of beauty, safety, and belonging.
Nurturing Community Green Havens
Parks & Green Spaces
Our parks are vital community spaces. A dedicated Park Upkeep Group monitors maintenance. Key repairs have been completed at Low Level Park, and the Water Cascade Corner has been transformed into a beautiful Fountain Park. The Forest Department has also introduced Bengaluru’s first Miyawaki Forest near the stage area, strengthening our urban green cover.
Protecting Our Living Canopy
Tree Care & Urban Greenery
Sadashivanagar’s tree cover is its defining strength. With aging trees and over-concretised roots posing risks, SRWA coordinates scientific pruning with the Forest Department to ensure safety without indiscriminate cutting. Guided by our in-house expert, Dr. Ramanjini Gowda, we prioritise long-term tree health and environmental balance.
Vigilance for Safer Streets
Safety & Security
With major roads surrounding the area, safety requires constant coordination. SRWA has installed convex mirrors, sought improved police signage, and arranged increased Hoysala patrol rounds to strengthen security and accident prevention.
Clean Streets, Shared Responsibility
Clean & Green Sadashivanagar
Cleanliness is a shared responsibility. Through a Lane Representatives Group led by Mr Sriram Tadimalla, residents actively monitor streets and drive civic action. A recent community plogging drive brought together 250+ participants across 35 streets, collecting nearly 300 kg of waste. More initiatives are planned through the year.
Protecting Our Peaceful Identity
Preserving Our Residential Character
SRWA remains vigilant in addressing unauthorised commercial activity to protect the peaceful, residential nature of Sadashivanagar.
Stronger Partnerships, Better Services
Civic Coordination
SRWA works closely with GBA, BWSSB, BESCOM, and local health officials to improve essential services and ensure smoother coordination in sanitation and waste management.
Every effort is rooted in collaboration: residents, experts, and civic authorities working together to protect our heritage and build a stronger future.
